I've had the interesting experience of losing weight. During the past 7 months I have lost 32 lbs by a meal plan called NutriSystem which is a good fit for me and works well with my lifestyle. I am sitting in my nice new home office, very busy with a project, which should be occupying all my attention. Instead I'm shaking and on the verge of tears. The wrist continues to heal. Took off my brace for a shower today (for the second time [not the second shower, the second time taking off the brace]) and it was less scary, can do more. Hoping I will be close to well by the 15th when I leave for London.

It's 70 degrees out! This is the summer we never had. It's a beautiful day, the sky is blue. All my friends are complaining about raking leaves; I just watch the janitor do it. First day feeling sort of normal but must make it quick.  I had a carpal tunnel release on Monday.  I was overoptimistic about how "little procedure" this would be but at least it was in-patient with a local.  Hard parts are needing help with the dog (thanks to Mike for stepping in) and the fact that FD is not really Florence Nightingale though ( Read more... )
